Stone Soup

I printed pictures from DLTK and laminated them.  You could also use plastic vegetables if you have them available.  I let the children put the food into a pot one by one, and then let them stir with a spoon.

Craft:

Savory Alphabet Soup

Print out the bowl from www.thebestkidsbooksite.com.  I had the kids cut them out and paste them onto paper and add tissue paper "seasoning" and sticky letters.
