He'll be coming in his mail truck,
He'll be coming in his mail truck when he comes.

Mail Carrier Song
"My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean"

I get to sort the mail,
Then carry it to your home.
The mail comes from all over,
Like New York, Paris or Rome.
Mail, mail, mail, mail.
I love to deliver the mail, mail, mail.
Mail, mail, mail, mail.
I love to deliver the mail.

Craft:

You've Got Mail!

Provide stickers, crayons, etc. and let the kids make cards for themselves. Older kids can practice writing, little ones can have their parents help. Provide envelopes and have parents fill in the address. Send the letters that day or the next. My kids were so excited to have mail of their own in the mailboxes! Good for print motivation and letter awareness.
